Sisters

This is the only one of the 220+ greeting cards in my collection that is not nature-themed. This is my mother and her sister, and is one of my favorite photos....I had gone to Georgia to bring my mother to visit us for a few weeks, and we stopped by to see her sister in a nursing home. When I saw this, I quietly got a shot. They were 86 and 89 at the time.

I love this. It's very loving. Sometimes when my mother (86 yrs) is sitting quietly, I take pictures of her hands. Even with wrinkles, she has beautiful hands and nails (better than mine. LOL) I want pictures of her hands as something to hold onto, I guess.

I have to ask... What is the "Oh hello" picture of at the top right of your blog? The creature with the long neck? It's so cute!

This image brought tears to my eyes - reminded me of my granpa and his brothers.

Oh Helen!
That is truly one of the most beautiful photos I've seen. You have a way with emotion whether it be from nature or from the human heart. Lovely, just lovely...
