Storm Across the Valley.......SWF

We were just tired of the rain, so decided to drive out to Shenandoah Nat Park and look for misty, cloudy landscapes......When we got there, the sun came out and there was actually blue, blue mountain sky, but as we drove along Skyline Dr, the storms came rolling back in. This was looking out over the Shenandoah Valley, with double storms. I can almost always put a John Denver song to beautiful scenery......"There's a storm across the valley; Clouds are rolling in......."

Helen this is a stunning photograph. Absolutely love it! We've had a bit of rain lately haven't we? Gregg and I are planning to go up to Big Meadow one of these weekends. We always love to have a walk across the meadow, look at the deer and hopefully see some fawns the next time we go.

Back again, I have just enlarged your photo and you've got a great capture of the rain falling on the left and on the right of your photo. I hope everyone enlarges your photo to see all the detail in that gorgeous picture you took.

Even stormy, it is beautiful. I'm sick of rain, too. Where is the sunshine!

Beautiful photo Helen. BTW, did I tell you I found a source for the nut blocks. I got two small ones to try out first before buying the big one with the hanger. Thanks.

Breath-taking photograph! Your mountains are as lovely as ours, especially when storms are coming and spring is breaking through.

Beautiful view. I've heard that sentiment from others whom I know in Maryland. I miss that weather myself. It's all sun here in Florida.
