I haven't posted anything since Sunday - I've been trying to catch up after the wedding - getting the store ready for Christmas in hopes that we will have some customers (???); I haven't even made many pictures, let alone post them. I think I've probably posted this one before, but it's one of those magic times when all I did was press the button...I was photographing the moon and the owl flew into the shot.

Doesn't matter if you've posted it before...it's a great one! Good luck on your Christmas season at the store.
Oh, I do hope the economy doesn't mess up the store's holiday season. The effects are so far-reaching.
Lovely card.
Wow---I haven't seen this one before, Helen. What a PERFECT shot. You were lucky to get this picture. Thanks for sharing it again--for new bloggers like me !!!
Lovely! Wishing you lots of holiday shoppers...
I haven't seen it before either so I'm glad you posted it. What a great photo!

Yes its Great Helen, a once in a lifetime shot.
A beautiful magical moment you captured!
It was like God wanted you to capture this image for all us to enjoy. I think nature is the remedy for all the depressing economic news we hear on TV. Get outside with your cameras folks. And I hope you get customers in your store. I'm planning to come by to see you soon.
A beautiful shot! Thanks for posting it again.
Oh my gosh what a spectacular photo Helen, how co-operative of that beautiful owl to fly into the perfect spot. I wish you lots of customers over the holiday season. I know it's not the best of times. We're seeing a decline at the place I work at too.
Very beautiful, amazing!
Bird with moon shots are always bring some nostalgic to us.
I have two old shots here and
here.
Have a great weekend!

Helen,
What a wonderful photo! How surprised were you after you pressed that button!! Great capture.
Hope you have a great holiday and see a lot of customers who are thrilled with your store and buy, buy and buy!! :)
Just remember magic happens when we least expect it, and usually when we most need it.
Here's to magic in your life, Helen, and all of ours!
One of the best of your photos...ever!
It is a great shot!!
Good luck with the Christmas sells!!
I think some shots are meant just for you and this was definitely one of them. Awesome!! :-)
Helen: Business comes first and I'm glad you took the time to show this card, simply beautiful.
What an astonishing pictures. You planned it right!
It's hard to keep up with all the blogging, I know exactly what you mean.
Weddings and Christmas...Now! There's a reason to slack on blogging. I did not see your owl in the moon picture before. How great is that and I bet a big surprise when it happened. Life is changing in these days of a low economy.. Hang on and put your faith to work! With family and friends we'll all get through.
Very magical shot indeed. Perfect in fact. Hope the holidays treat you well..
What can I say? Perfect timing, perfect focus, perfect wing position, perfect composition, perfect subject...PERFECTION!
I am ((drooling)) right now!
Fantabulous!
Appreciate your concern on the violence in Mumbai. We hope it will end soon as well. It has actually taken all of us by suprise. We have never before seen encounters between army and terrorists before...Thomas
