I came to catch up..I love all the photos. I have never seen a blue bird, but my sister has had some success in VA where she lives. Yes, this is a stressful time. I am thankful that I have the pond and woods to go out and relax by..

Your card is a bit like the world economy, knock on wood and hope!

Great choice of birds for hope...the downy! She is a determined and hard working bird. She never ceases to chip and peck whatever it is she wants. She dominates my suet feeder and provides us with endless entertainment which make us smile!

Another lovely card. No matter how bad everything else is, nature is still beautiful.

Loved seeing the Downy's belly all puffed up like this - wonderful photo of her!

Could you mail one of these to all of our congressmen? Lovely photo as always! We need a few woodpeckers pecking on the heads of some of our congressmen, now that I think about it.

For sure times are a-changing and not all for the good. It pays to have a solid faith...and 'know all things work together for good to those who love God'. We may have hard times but I believe lessons are learned and these times bring blessings in the strangest places. We prioritize our wants and needs and find out what is important to us. Family is precious and means more. Relationhips get closer. Hang on tight and 'keep looking up'!

What an appropriate quote for these hectic times. Unfortunately, some people have no knowledge of either where they stand or where they are going.

Nice photo.

Love the bird. I actually saw one of those! That's a big thing for me. :-) Love the saying under the photo too. So true!
