Remembering -

Today's Greeting
I'm not much of a TV watcher, but I turned on our public TV station this evening, and they were doing "Remembering John Denver." I like classical music and some new age - and John Denver. I don't think he ever did a song I didn't love - I saw him play "live" several times, and I use his music to stay awake when I take my long road rambles. It was a nice time, all comfy in front of the tv with my dog (John went back to Jacksonville today), just listening and enjoying and remembering. I'm glad today's greeting was the next in line,; it seems appropriate for a John Denver evening I think.

John Denver had a beautiful soul and a voice that not only entertained us but too, gave us pause about the environment.

Helen: What a great capture of the three visitors to the thistle. I always enjoyed John Denver and his country style. We lost a wonderful musician when he passed.

I know what you mean. I lived in Colorado for 16 years. Even after all of that time, I couln't shake Rocky Mountain High from my head. I did start to listen to John Denver again. Real honest music.
