Jingle in my head..

I shouldn't have titled yesterday's post the way I did - all day that little song went through my head...Does anybody remember "Rise and shine and sing out the glory, glory"?
"The sun came out and dried up the landy, landy;
The sun came out and dried up the landy, landy;
Everything ws fine and dandy, dandy;
Sing out, children, sing it."
Oh my gosh - I hadn't thought of that in a bazillion years until I wrote it as the title! Well, it's true - everything is fine and dandy!

Today's Greeting

I know exactly what you mean..you sing a verse of a song and it rolls around in your head all day long! and YES! I do remember that song..used to sing it with the kids in Bible school.

We learned a completely different "rise and shine". I would wake up the kids on school days by flipping on their lights and singing it to them.

Rise and shine
And give God the glory, glory
Rise and shine
And give God the glory, glory
Rise and shine
And give God the glory, glory
Children of the Lord

I think we all have tunes in our head after being reminded. I definitely have this rise and shine in my head now :-) Great posts the last several days.

Helen: I remember Marsha's version of the song. It is wonderful to see the land dry out after all your rain. I love the photo on your card, it is so detailed it pops off the page.

Well Helen,
I just got rid of a song that was stuck in my head! I'm not even going to say it because it will come back!! You have a wonderful day! If you're going to have a song suck in your head Rise and Shines sounds like a good one!

I know what song your talking about but don't know it that well. It is certainly appropriate and I'm glad you brought it to mind! I also think about "I've got joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart, down in my heart, down in my heart." I can see we'll all be "laughing at the sky" like your card says :-) Isn't it great to be happy and sing?

Thanks a lot, Helen. Now the little diddy will be with me today as well as yesterday. That is, until something else comes along. Love today's card.

I don't know that song but I'm smiling just the same. I'm not into frogs but that is definitely a cute picture of one. :-)
