No news...

Today's Greeting
I haven't seen the little fledglings again since Tuesday morning. The consensus seems to be that they were orphans who somehow found their way to my porch (maybe it was the big sign that says"Bluebirds Welcome" lol), and my very possessive resident male wasn't keen on intruders. I have watched for them all day but they didn't come back to the porch. (Once I thought I heard baby bluebird begging in a normal voice, but it might have been wishful thinking, because I never saw it.) This morning my pair and two of the kids from the 3rd brood were here. Those juvies did a lot of feeding during the summer, so I'm hoping that if Ollie and Camille won't adopt the little orphans, maybe the juvies will....or better yet, maybe their parents resurfaced.

I can't stand it! Let me know what happens with those missing bluebird babies. This circle of life....sometimes I wish it would just GO AWAY!

It's always sad to see things like this happen, but happen they do sadly.

I guess I wouldn't come back either after getting a beating like they did! Hope you're wishes come true and that they'll find their way...

I guess no news is better than bad news. This way you can have hope that there is a happy ending. The card is wonderful today.

I've enjoyed playing "catch up" so I've been treated to so many of your wonderful pictures and stories at once. I did enjoy seeing Emily. What a beauty

We all will wonder about what happened to those little darling bluebird babies.. . But will probably never know. Nature has it's own way and not for us to second guess I think.

That sounds good Helen, these two little naughty kids thought they would teach their parents a thing or two but it backfired on them! Ha Ha chalk one up for mom and dad!!
