I was having severe withdrawal symptoms! Not enough camera time. I took a few minutes with my avian friends, and I'm ready to work again.
Ollie and brood 2 baby - I think there are only 2 left.
Sorry Barb - I just can't not love these funny little starlings - I didn't realize they go back into the nest after they fledge - two of them played hide-and-seek today.

What a wonderful picture - Ollie and baby. We have bluebirds nesting in boxes down our fenceline so I never get to see anything but the parents flying in and out.
How beautiful, each and every one of them!
Good to see you posting new photos! I missed that a little! And good ones they are! Bravo! Cheers, Klaus
I know the feeling. I have left home a few time with out the camera, and it feels like I am missing an arm or something. Just have to get out there once in a while and enjoy...sounds like you didn't have to go far.. thanks for sharing.
That is some of the finist pictures I have seen of birds. Wow! Thanks for stopping by my place. Hope your Sunday is filled with as much joy as you spread to others! Have a great new week!
No one captures fledglings better than you. Who else could turn a starling into a little darling?
Your bluebird photos make me almost swoon Helen! :c)
I'll say "amen" to your card, but birds are a pretty "amen" to me, too :-) The Bluebird's babes just get cuter and cuter even as they grow up. The starling in the tree is cute, too and the "kitten bird". I just love all those babies and wish I was seeing them for real.
Thank you everyone - Nite..
Helen: What a neat bit of photography today. I guess the kitten bird was your own great name, very funny.
Where have I been!!! I missed this one yesterday!!! OH YEAH building a Guinea coop!!!
Beautiful pictures Helen!
