I live in a tunnel-free place so they have always seemed very cool to me. We'd drive through them on the PA Turnpike when I was a kid to see my grandparents. I must be associating those nice memories with them!
Great photo of the tunnel. It captures all the things that make me fear them; the sterility of the colorless walls and ceiling, the scary lights and the knowledge our infrastructure is failing. Better stop before I hyperventilate.
One look at "Today's Greeting" has me breathing normally again. Thanks.
Helen - What is your opinion on feeding birds year-round? Is it ok to do or should you not feed them in the summertime when their natural food is abundant? I've heard pros and cons for both sides, and really want to do the right thing. Thanks! ann
Welcome back! I hate those tunnels, too! Went through a real scary one from Detroit to Canada once with 2 way traffic.....prayed the whole time to actually get there.
Great photo.. glad you are home.. I have never been in one of the tunnels back east.. only seen them on tv.. but your photo looks like traffic was good..
Gorgeous Gardenia! I love the fragrance and miss being able to grow them in my garden.
Good shot of the tunnel. I've been through that tunnel a number of times. I hate them, too and try to avoid them. When somebody is driving and we go into one, I close my eyes and hold my breath, close to panic. LOL

I agree with you, I hate tunnels and also bridges, but you make it look bearable with your neat shot!

Thanks, Helen - I'm off to the Nature Center to stock up! Wish I could stock up at your store, but CT to you is a bit of a hike.
