I got lucky this morning - I heard some very loud cheeping, and three carolina wren babies flew in, right in front of me...I think they had just fledged - they stayed on the ground a lot.
This was funny - it looks as though he's seeing if anyone is home - he was actually drinking the water droplets.

Up early this morning aren't you?! The feeding shots are wonderful - do you put mealworms out for your birds?
Just beautiful! It's always a pleasure to see the babies being fed. Your 'blues' are to die for!!
Great photos as usual, I really like the last one.
Wonderful pictures! I always love coming here to see your birds. The babies are adorable! Your caterpillar is exquisite! I wish I hadn't deleted the one picture I took of a black and white warbler yesterday because now you have me wondering if what I saw was really what I thought it was. :)
Love the card today! And all the baby pics are precious. That little wren would have been very surprised if a toad had popped its head out :-)
It's such a treat to see all your baby birds. Looking forward to it every morning! And they grow so fast... ;)
Cheers, Klaus
I am so loving your bluebirds! And I am so jealous! Wish they'd come live by me.
Wonderful photos as always - your bird shot are just amazing, and I'm so glad you share them!
And that caterpillar card is wonderful - love the focus perspective.
Oh I just adore feeding shots!!! Loved the last shot of the Daddy and baby Bluebirds!!!What a unique caterpiller shot.
You can't get much more precious than that!
Helen, these are fantastic photos. I love the card.. I am trying to use up some of my older archives so I can clean up my pc. Then I will post some of this years shots.. and more of my bluebirds as well.. I am loving the wren babies.. they are so small and wonderful..
Nice photography. I liked the wrens and them eating. Very nice.
Ahhh so this is what I'll be missing! The wren shots are just adorable.Cutest little babies. The caterpiller card is unique. Thanks bird lady.
Your Bluebird baby album is still tops on my list, but all the images are great.
Aren't fledglings wonderful? I love seeing them making so many goofy mistakes.
I just can't get enough of your "baby" photos! They never disappoint!
Thanks to all of you.
Helen
