I can see why you made the first photo into a card, it's amazing. Was that baby bird actually perched on those blossoms or is it a Photoshop composite? Either way it's fantastic.

Love your little family of babies, Birdlady! Absolutely beautiful shots and quite a variety!

Thank you everyone!
Eve, go ahead and look - the bluebirds will likely fuss at you a bit, but will go right back when you leave. Actually the Bluebird Society recommends that you monitor your box, to be sure all is well. They would welcome your input at the end of the season too, if you make a record.

Ahhhh.....I could just leave it at that :-) I adore that second one of the little bluebird sticking out his wings with all the hope of future flight in his face. I don't know how you manage to see all these babies! I don't see any until the parents bring them to the feeders and the babies are bigger than they are! My robins are so high up in a tree, I can barely make out the parent's tail...no babies in view yet. Wonderful shots!

I'm catching up! Your baby shots are splendid! So cute and funny. I came home to no mama and papa wren and 6 newly hatched babies, expired. :-(
In the post on Mother's day I love that little 'pee wee'. I think the baby Robin is handsome. thanks for sharing! Great pictures.

Very heartwarming photos. The baby wren made me laugh w/ the tufts of hair sticking up on top of his head.
