See you at the rainbow bridge.

Today we said sad good-byes to little Tink. She was 4 1/2 pounds of joyfulness, and she gave us all many years of fun and, oh, so much love. She was 15.

"Autumn is Another Spring, When Every Leaf is a Flower"

The "bird tree" is golden....and still full of birds. The last few days, we have had dozens of goldfinch, house finches, juncos (uh-oh - I know what that means), downy woodpeckers, red-bellies, chickadees, titmice, nuthatches, carolina wrens, mockingbirds, song sparrows, gorgeous cardinals, and the stars of the show, as always, the bluebirds. Unfortunately, there are also house sparrows and starlings!
Mealworms get gobbled up fast!

There were 1/2 dozen crows harassing this guy - he would looks as though he was trying to just fly with them, but they would cut him off and chase him back into the trees.
