Almost Forgotten

It was pretty quiet in the woods this morning. But this little hooded warbler made a brief appearance for us.

Juvenile wren - very tiny and fast.

There were still lots of juncos.

This great crested flycatcher was really high up - sort of surveying everything.

Just a few butterflies left.

Beautiful shots, bird lady! I love that hooded warbler, he's just gorgeous as are all of your shots!

WOW! Those hooded warbler pictures just took my breath away! I have never seen one - you'll have to make a 'warbler' book! The Warblers of Shenandoah -- it must be a warbler paradise there! Also - never saw a wren that young - great shots.
