Simple

This one certainly has no claims to great photography, but it "speaks" to me - the tree swallows are hardly distinguishable as their species, but they sit happily and lightly in Shenandoah National Park's Big Meadow....

Sometime a picture is perfect in its imperfection.

I love it!

I love it too! It is simple... and yet not. What are the chances of getting that shot again?

You've really captured the mood of the day, the gentle mist diffuse in the air where the little swallows are not only the subject but also the enhancer of the mist.
Much more evocative than perfection could ever be.

Simple is usually best Helen, this is also an indicator to us over here at around this time that they are starting their migration South. In fact ours are just about gone now. I guess that is similar where you are.

I love the simplicity of it! We focus so closely on the birds that we usually miss the lovely scenery around them. This is a beautiful shot! It catches how they live.
